I do love a good before/after!
The light fixture on the left was given to me for free by Tara Burgess. I painted it and we hung it. Seven years later, I found the one on the right at Dr. Franzmeier's yard sale for $30. I sold the old one for $20. Love!
I totally hated to get rid of the piano that my Grandma Bonnie bought for me as a child but it was in desperate need of an update! See bottom photo. I recovered the seat in a funky animal print. The paint color was mustard but everyone thinks it is green?! I love how it turned out!
My China cabinet got a makeover with Annie Sloan chalk paint, French Linen. I sold it shortly afterwards in preparation for receiving my grandma's set.
I purchased this hall tree for $20 and sold it for $130. I painted it and added hooks to each side. I think it would be adorable with a big monogram in the center panel!
I purchased this desk at a yard sale for $30. Dane had been asking for a desk for his room. I will try to locate the before pix! (It was pale yellow). I found this modern chair for $7 at the Antique store. Looks great in his room!
