The Junk Ranch

It's Father's Day weekend and Raylene and Teri came for a visit. Saturday, Teri and I went to the Junk Ranch in Prairie Grove, AR while D and Grammy spend the day relaxing around the pool with the boys.
Such a neat venue.
There were so many neat booths.
Oh dear... I found a treasure.

Hannah Knoedl was selling D'wana's cuffs.
After the Junk Ranch, Teri and I ate lunch at Hammontree's in Fayetteville. We went to the Farmer's Market on the Square and went to a few stores before returning home. Darin grilled supper and Teri made her famous guac! yum!
The guys taking it easy around the pool.

Hanging with Grammy on the patio.

Once again, Dane is at camp on Father's Day.

Dacen's Baseball Party

#3rd year T-ball is in the books and we won tournament champions!
Drayke Henson having a little cupcake.
Darin is such an awesome coach and really works well with these lil guys!
I love is baseball analogy that tied into Christ's love for the world.

GHS Baseball Camp

Deacon and Dace had a blast at the 2 day baseball camp.  We have a brand new coach so it was nice having fresh ideas. Deacon received the Bulldog award for Best All Around and Dace received the Best Pitcher Award for 9 and under.  There were only 5 awards given so we were honored to receive 2 of the 5!

Deacon and Dace enjoyed doing camp with our friend and neighbor, Braden Bollman.

Daks: Litte Rock

So the fact of the matter is...Daks has a hard time getting up and ready for school on time. He was continually making everyone late. Darin gave him a 3 strikes and you're out ultimatum. If he could not get ready on time, he would be taking semester exams...even though he had all A's and B's.  Well, you guessed it, he struck out. Darin offered him 2 options for his discipline. He could take semester exams OR spend the week in Little Rock, helping his Grammy by doing her much needed yard work.  He chose the latter. There were no electronics. Just work and Grammy. He worked long days in the heat, just stopping for a break or lunch. Uncle David and Aunt Teri came over a couple of times to give him guidance on what needed to be done. He worked hard and did a great job. I think Grammy enjoyed the fruits of his labor as well as his company. The watched A LOT of tv and movies in the evenings. In the end, I think he had wished that he had taken the semester exam.
