Hogs vs. South East Mississippi State

We were so excited to get 2 extra tickets from Russell Gibbons, who sits in front of us, for the South East Mississippi State game. We invited Natalie Burklow and Seth Hill to go with us.
Seth, Darin, and Dane are getting ready to head over to the stadium!
I love this pix of Seth taken from the food court area.

Seth seems to be enjoying his first Razorback game.

Let's Stand Up and Call Those Hogs!
 I love these Hog Fans!

Natalie and I were almost twins!

I was so excited to get to see Sharon! I miss her so much since she moved to Fayetteville.
 Dane and Mom selfie!

After the game, we went to Lewis and Clarke to climb the wall and to look for Chacos for Dane. We then went to the mall for dinner before heading home.

 Dace wasn't afraid!

Daks "may" have been timid and "may" have tried again AFTER Natalie made it all the way to the top!

Natalie was fearless and made it to the top!

It was a great day for all!

Pool Progress

We broke ground on our pool the last week of June!  Estimated finish date was July 30 but as of this writing, we are still going and it's September 13.  This has been an agonizing process but we are hoping it will be so worth it when it's all done.

Rock, rock, and more rock...not good.  We ended up having to jack hammer rock for 3 weeks in the shallow end. Budget Buster!

"The Mexicans" as Scott calls them.
The molds for the walls are going up!

 We have walls!

After the walls were done, Scott went to finish digging out the deep end.... more rock!  Not good! Scott had already returned the big jack hammer so these guys had to hand jack hammer, cut, whatever they could, to get the rock out. They shoveled it out by hand because Scott's backhoe never will work!
 Finally pouring the bottom!
 I love the rock border!
Inspired by Pinterest, we had a fountain built.  It has a 60" sheer waterfall. I can not wait to see it all done.
Two weeks have gone by since this photo with not much done. So frustrating. We are supposed to have the concrete decking done by Monday. We shall see! We will start planning that Polar Plunge!
