Granny turned 85!
Dace and I took her a little cake.
I am so blessed to still have her. She was such a huge part of my childhood.
She provided piano lessons, swim lessons, bicycles, and pretty church dresses for me.
We always painted our nails on Saturday night to get ready for church.
We watched Dallas, Fantasy Island, the Jefferson's, the Jetson's cartoon, and Silver Spoons together. Oh yeah, let's not forget Lawrence Welk, Wheel of Fortune, and Mel's Diner. She has been a wonderful example of what a godly woman should look like. She is a strong woman. She lived with an alcoholic for many years, yet she stayed and remained strong. She has shown me how to trust God and how he will always provide and take care of us. His hand has been on her. She has been blessed with health and a long life.
