Our Spring Break journey started at 8:30 a.m. on Satuday, March 21.
Dane had spent the night with Luke Travis to celebrate his birthday and they ate dinner at Fuji. Dane came home at 6:45 a.m. to get ready to leave and stated that he had thrown up when leaving Luke's house. He mentioned that his chicken tasted funny at Fuji, so we decided he had food poisoning and set out for Houston.
Thankfully, I packed several Walmart sacks...just in case. It was not a pretty ride. Poor Dane,,,he felt terrible.
I think his last episode was around 1:00 p.m. in Dallas.
Daks was so kind to trade places with his bubby so he could get air and not feel so sick. He even let him use his legs as a pillow.
Once Dane felt a little better, we stopped for Starbucks. A Vanilla Bean Frappacino makes everything better, right?
We ran into a little cold dreariness.
We made it to our hotel in Webster, just South of Houston. Tomorrow, we will visit Johnson Space Center with some of our Greenwood friends.
We rode the tram to several different buildings to learn all about the space center.

They had a special for spring break that allowed us to ride the bus to the swimming facility where the astronauts train. So interesting!
After 4-5 hours of space stuff, we hit the road towards Galveston!
