During basketball season, we had several scares with Dacen so we decided to get it all checked out at ACH. During games, Dace was very aggressive and takes his ball very seriously. Two times this season and one time last season he would get light headed, dizzy, couldn't breathe and almost collapsed/passed out on the floor this year. After testing everything, all we can come up with he was getting anxiety/worked up about the game and having an anxiety attack/ hyperventilating. This happened later this year in football practice as well. We are working on strategies for controlling our emotions while playing sports!
Dace, like Dane at this age, talks NON STOP. These phrases were being thrown out faster than I could put them in my phone. So funny, I wanted to remember!
Dace absolutely LOVED his "Super Hero Vest". As you can see in later pictures, he wore it at home until it literally fell apart...months after the procedure.
