We broke ground on our pool the last week of June! Estimated finish date was July 30 but as of this writing, we are still going and it's September 13. This has been an agonizing process but we are hoping it will be so worth it when it's all done.
Rock, rock, and more rock...not good. We ended up having to jack hammer rock for 3 weeks in the shallow end. Budget Buster!

After the walls were done, Scott went to finish digging out the deep end.... more rock! Not good! Scott had already returned the big jack hammer so these guys had to hand jack hammer, cut, whatever they could, to get the rock out. They shoveled it out by hand because Scott's backhoe never will work!

Inspired by Pinterest, we had a fountain built. It has a 60" sheer waterfall. I can not wait to see it all done.
Two weeks have gone by since this photo with not much done. So frustrating. We are supposed to have the concrete decking done by Monday. We shall see! We will start planning that Polar Plunge!
